Read THIS blog post by a teacher. I mean actually read it. Take it in. Think about it. And then, write about it. What do you think about it? What is the teacher trying to say? In your own words explain what "the main event" is.

I think she makes a good point about the purpose of school and how it teaches you to overcome challenges. School is probably a healthier way to learn how to deal with the hardships of life than doing so out on the streets and the best way to learn how to deal with life is through trying in school. It's definitely something to think about. I guess parts of the blog post really apply to me because at times my motivation to do things is extremely low and I'll tend to be really apathetic about anything I don't really care about.

This weekend I didn't do that much actually, I spent a lot of it getting stuff ready for our Winter Park trip which starts Wednesday night. That was pretty boring and involved going to a lot of stores, we also spent two days searching stores for a decent pair of size 14 shoes which was quite difficult and time consuming.

If images are on the internet they should be "free game".

If the image is on a stock image site like ShutterStock then yes but some professional photographs are the intellectual property of their owners and should be paid for.

Resume Website Reflection

This website was actually quite frustrating to me because I realized that I haven't really done a lot of stuff that I could put down on a resume which has actually made me think about the future more than I would have otherwise. So even though I didn't do that great on the website it has actually ended up meaning something bigger to me and will hopefully inspire me to change how I do things and get involved in more activities so that in the future I have more to talk about. It has also taught me to better manage my time because even though the information wouldn't have gotten much better, I could have at least presented my content in a better quality than I did, instead of the website looking very simple. In the future I hope to be less distracted and get more done on future websites and life.

What's the coolest thing you've learned in Web Design so far? Why is it so cool and how can it help you in the future?
Becoming friends with Jeremy is by far the most valuable thing I've learned how to do, it will definitely last a lifetime and will help enrich my future.

What is a resume website? What do people put on resume websites. Spend about 5-10 minutes looking up resume websites and what they are used for. Explain what you find. Include an image of a resume website if possible.

A resume website is a website that you use to tell about your accomplishments and can be used for things such as job applications. You put information such as significant life achievements and information about yourself that will look impressive to people that view it to help assist you in landing a job or getting accepted into something.

What are you doing for Spring Break?
Gonna chill out and watch some basketball, hopefully win some money for my bracket this year cuz I'm bringing out all the killer stats for this years tournament. We might go see some family up in Iowa too so that'll probably be pretty fun.
